Cellophane Flowers is the combination of an all-female, classical string quartet, with vocalist/ guitarist, Jeff Lubin. The ensemble combines elements of classical music with modern electronic loops & synth, & interpretive AV to offer a unique concert experience.

Cellophane Flowers offer 2 separate, 90 minute shows:

1. “SONGBOOK” features interpretations of various classic rock standards & contemporary artists including Led Zeppelin, Queen, Elton John, David Bowie, Coldplay, Radiohead, the Eurythmics, & many more.

2. “THE BEATLES ARE BACH” features the music of the Fab Four, as well as songs from John Lennon & Paul McCartney’s respective solo careers.

The casual & conversational vibe of a Cellophane Flower show can be attributed to Jeff’s lifelong journey as a singer/songwriter.

He has performed throughout his life as a soloist, and also in various rock bands.. everywhere from the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, to the rock n roll bar scene of Bourbon Street in New Orleans, to the glamorous landmarks of NYC (ie:The Rainbow Room, the Plaza Hotel, the Waldorf Astoria, etc…)

And as the lead singer of hard rock band, BIG BANG, Jeff has been an opening act for multi-platinum recording artists EXTREME, WINGER, ZEBRA, and Paul Stanley of KISS. In 2005, Jeff was the Musical Director of CBS’s Latin, American Idol spinoff show, “The Nueva Estrella Awards”, a show for which he also wrote the theme song called “Shine”. He currently sings lead & plays guitar with original music/ cover rock band, The LP’S.

Susan Aquila - Violinist

Susan combines her experience as a classically-trained, concert violinist, with her passion for rock music. Her unique abilities as a performer have made her one of the most sought after musicians on today’s national music scene.

In the single month of December, 2017, she performed with GAME OF THRONES LIVE at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, as well as 30 performances of the XMAS SPECTACULAR at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Susan has also performed at arenas nationwide with multi-platinum recording artist Transiberian Orchestra, and was recently nominated for a Grammy for her own original work, “Miss Conduct”.
